Become a teacher and education leader at Oregon State.

Our master’s program in math or science education has a flexible hybrid format and is designed to be completed in one year full-time or in two years part-time. Graduate with your K-12 Oregon Teaching License, which is reciprocal in many other states, and build the skills, experience, and confidence to pursue a career in STEM teaching.

Learn online while building your network

This program blends asynchronous online coursework with limited face-to-face sessions. Build your professional network with a hybrid cohort of classmates from across the United States. The in-person class meetings — in fall and winter terms — provide an opportunity to work directly with peers on Oregon State University's Corvallis campus for two Saturdays per quarter. Remote participation via Zoom is also available for these sessions.

Gain valuable hands-on experience

Work with the College of Education’s renowned faculty to develop a broad range of instructional strategies so you can meet the needs of diverse learners at different levels of development. Students create engaging STEM content for the modern classroom and gain more than 700 hours of hands-on student teaching experience.
