More Pathways.
Like so many students starting their undergraduate careers, Zoe Arinsberg wasn't exactly sure what degree she wanted to pursue. A single education course changed her mind — and she discovered that working with first graders was a dream she didn't even know she had!
OSU’s College of Education offers more pathways to teacher licensure than any other program in Oregon. We will meet you where you are and get you to where you want to go.
Support Every Step of the Way.
Are you a science nerd who dreams of being a S.T.E.M. teacher? Your dreams are possible — and we have the expertise to help you get there!
From our Advisors to our Program Leads to our Peer Mentors, you will supported along every step of your academic journey. We understand that your needs include connections both inside and outside of the classroom — and we're here to help!
Real World Learning.
For Indica Stephenson, counseling was a calling... especially since her past experiences with school counselors were less than ideal. At the encouragement of a friend, Indica decided to become a school counselor herself!
OSU’s College of Education is known for its focus on real-world learning and application, or what we call praxis. Our faculty are made up of experienced professionals who are K-12 teachers, practicing counselors, and higher education administrators. We don’t just talk about theories, we teach about how to create change through real-life experiences in the education and counseling fields.
