OSU’s College of Education and Ecampus are the proud home of a newly developed social work program that has recently begun offering undergraduate courses. These courses are perfect for students who are pursuing degree pathways in social services, mental health, and related fields. We are currently exploring the development of future social work degree pathways at OSU.

Social Work Program Mission
We are dedicated to preparing ethical and competent BSW-level generalist practitioners to deliver research-informed interventions that promote human rights, well-being, and address social issues locally, nationally, and globally. Our students are trained as systems thinkers to conceptualize client needs within a person-in-environment framework. They are change agents who serve those who are the most vulnerable and oppressed with a focus on the importance of human relationships. We embrace an anti-oppressive approach informed by principles of anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are committed to developing practitioners who advocate for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
