POST-BACCALAUREATE ADMISSION PROCESS
The Education Degree can be completed as a second degree for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree. It is recommended that students have a primary degree in an area that aligns with what they want to teach. The Education degree has options in the following areas: several Math/Science, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health, Language Arts, and Social Studies. Students can also add additional an English to Speakers of Other Languages endorsement or Dual Language Specialization to their primary endorsement area.
Post-baccalaureate students will be required to satisfy the University’s subsequent degree requirement of 32 additional credits taken at Oregon State University. Students with a degree from other institutions must complete 45 credits in residence. Courses from other institutions can be used to petition prerequisite requirements, so long as total credit and residency requirements are met.
