POST-BACCALAUREATE ADMISSION PROCESS
The Education Double Degree is intended as a second degree for Oregon State University undergraduate students. The nature of the degree requires a primary degree in a field other than education. Post-baccalaureate students from institutions other than OSU may be eligible for the program based on space available and the endorsement area being sought.
Students seeking endorsements in the following high-need areas will receive strong consideration:
-
Family & Consumer Sciences
-
Mathematics
-
Science: integrated science, chemistry, biology, and physics.
Bilingual candidates in all endorsement areas will also receive strong consideration.
Post-baccalaureate students from other institutions who pursue the Education Double Degree will be required to satisfy the University’s double degree requirement of 36 credits. These 36 must be completed in residence.
Students with a degree from other institutions must have 45 credits in residence. Courses from other institutions can be used to petition prerequisite requirements.
