Explore Financial and Emergency Aid resources available to current College of Education students.

Emergency financial aid assistance if available only to current College of Education students through this fund. Other restrictions may apply.

Basic Needs Center (BNC)

The Basic Needs Center has knowledgeable staff who can assist students in finding other avenues of emergency funds and offers resources such as a food pantry, Food Assistance programs, a Textbook Lending Program, and assistance for those in housing crisis.

Center for Advancing Financial Education (CAFE)

The Center for Advancing Financial Education (CAFE) is for every student. It is housed in the College of Business and is your one-stop financial wellness center, providing services to the OSU community and beyond.

Degree Partnership Program (DPP)*

The Degree Partnership Program (DPP) promotes educational attainment and bachelor's degree completion by allowing students to be jointly admitted and concurrently enrolled at Oregon State University and Oregon or Hawaii community colleges.

Office of Student Access & Completion (OSAC)

The Office of Student Access & Completion (OSAC) through the Higher Education Coordinating Commission offers hundreds of scholarships available by varying criteria - high school attended, county of residence, college major, GPA, need-based, and more! The deadline closes March 1st for next academic year opportunities.

Oregon Teacher Scholars Program Grant 

The Oregon Teacher Scholars Program (OTSP) Grant provides funding for eligible Oregon resident students who are culturally or linguistically diverse that are enrolled and pursuing their preliminary licensure for teaching, school counseling, school social work, and school psychology.

OSU Emergency Loans

OSU emergency loans are short term loans of up to $350.00. One emergency loan of any amount is allowed each term, and prior emergency loans have to be repaid before a new one will be issued.

Eligibility: To be eligible to receive an emergency loan students must be enrolled at least half-time, be degree-seeking, and not have any active financial holds. Emergency loans are intended to assist students, therefore if your primary affiliation with OSU is as an employee, you are not eligible for emergency loans.

OSU Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid can explain if your current financial situation might mean that you should revise the FAFSA that you completed for this academic year. Remember, you might have filled this out 2 years ago when you might have had more financial resources than you do now.

OSU Scholarship Office

The Scholarship Office serves all recipients of OSU scholarships and works to increase opportunities for access. OSU students may use OSU ScholarDollars to submit an application, which allows you to be considered for nearly 2,000 OSU scholarship opportunities.

SNAP

SNAP provides food benefits to eligible, low-income individuals and families. Students 18-49 who attend higher education at least half-time may be eligible for SNAP by meeting income guidelines and additional criteria.

Financial Impact Hardship Award

A dedicated hardship fund to assist graduate students, including those who hold a Graduate Employee position. OSU’s Graduate School coordinates these funds to assist graduate students experiencing unexpected financial hardship that impedes, impacts, or interferes with academic progress.

A collection of scholarships and fellowships administered by the Graduate School for graduate students.

OSU-Cascades

ASCC (Associated Students of Cascades Campus)

ASCC, the student governing body at OSU-Cascades, has several student support programs such as a Food Pantry, Child Care Subsidies, a textbook lending program, an emergency housing subsidy, and more.

Student Wellness Resources

Student Wellness supports the emotional, social, and physical well-being of students to help them reach their academic and personal goals and make the most of their educational experience—much of which is free of charge to students. They provide health services, health insurance assistance, counseling services, health programming, and access to support groups.

Ecampus

Ecampus Financial Hardship Grant

Oregon State Ecampus has set aside limited funding to assist online students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship that interferes with academic progress. This funding is being provided to help ensure that Ecampus students with demonstrated financial need are able to continue their education at OSU.

Ecampus Student Services

OSU student services representatives help you navigate your student experience at Oregon State in a more effective manner on your path to academic success. We also provide assistance with change of major forms, overrides, questions regarding resources, registration concerns, liaison with student accounts, petitions, tuition refund appeals and facilitation of instructor-student issues.
