In-Service Teachers

Currently licensed teachers are required to contact Holly Mitchell to create a planned program. Currently licensed teachers apply both to the program and through the OSU Graduate School. The graduate school application requires the names and contact information for three professional references and transcripts of all institutions attended. 

Applicants are also asked to demonstrate Spanish proficiency by submitting passing scores on a TSPC recognized assessment (ACTFL OPI, OPI(c), NES Spanish, or Avant STAMP). Contact Holly Mitchell (holly.mitchell@oregonstate.edu) to receive instructions on how to apply.

Pre-Service Teachers

Pre-service students are encouraged to contact Holly Mitchell (holly.mitchell@oregonstate.edu) as soon as they are interested to discuss the eligibility requirements. Students will be asked to demonstrate Spanish fluency through an interview process. This will need to completed before taking any Dual Language coursework which begins fall term of junior year.  

Students are required to complete the program application.
