While working in middle and high school special education classrooms, Meghann was inspired to pursue policy change and improve practices related to the inclusion of students with a wide range of abilities. Meghann earned a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University and has taught and researched issues related to inclusive education since 2013. Meghann’s evaluation work has included partnerships with the Oregon Department of Education, 4-H Youth Development, and the Google for Education initiative. Meghann’s work as an educator took her overseas in 2016 when she led a study abroad program at Fu Jen University in Taipei, Taiwan. Meghann has a passion for issues related to educational equity, accessibility, and disability justice.
