June Morris comes to OSU with 24 years of teaching in K-12. She was a high school teacher for 21 years in Social Studies and ELA, a district Social Studies specialist for grades K-12, and an instructional coach/MTSS specialist (elementary school).  June has been a leader in several Social Studies professional organizations, including the National Council of the Social Studies, Oregon Council for the Social Studies, and the Center for Geography Education in Oregon. 

As a teacher, June mentored several preservice teachers and is looking forward to working with College of Education preservice teachers in a supervisory role.  She is interested in research that supports meaningful professional development for educators and cultivating a disposition toward lifelong learning and innovation among all teachers. 

June has lived in Corvallis for over 30 years and enjoys being part of the OSU community! For rest and rejuvenation, you can find June hiking, gardening, or spending time with her family, which includes adorable grandchildren (future Beavers).
