Annie Delbridge

Annie Delbridge (she/her) was an elementary school teacher and literacy coach in dual language classrooms and a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Paraguay before returning to graduate school for a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy Education with a supporting area in Linguistic and Cultural Diversity. Her current research interests include culturally relevant texts and their impact on student belonging in early literacy settings and improving literacy outcomes through teacher education and professional development. She taught undergraduate and graduate level courses and supervised clinical placements at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, and Western Oregon University prior to beginning her current position at OSU.
