Dr. Haley Traini (formerly Clement) is an Assistant Professor in Leadership Education. Dr. Traini is also the coordinator of our Leadership Minor and co-director of the College of Agricultural Sciences & College of Forestry Leadership Academy. She has taught a variety of leadership, agricultural sciences, and agricultural education courses in the Department of Agricultural Education and Agricultural Sciences. Dr. Traini holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Education from California State University, Chico as well as a California Secondary Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Agriculture. From 2010-2015, Haley taught high school agriculture in California, then spent the 2015-2016 school year teaching agriculture in Ghana with AgriCorps and the Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture. Dr. Traini pursued a graduate teaching assistantship and a Ph.D. in Education with an Option in Agricultural Education within the department from 2016-2019 and officially was brought on as a faculty member in the department in August of 2019. She enjoys reading, traveling, and taking her dog for walks with her husband.
