Prior to joining OSU, I was a full-time faculty at Northwest Christian University where I taught for two years. I also worked for eight years as a mental health counselor and school counselor in Washington State before coming to NCU. I am bilingual/bicultural (English/ Spanish) and I have experience working with at risk youth, couples and families. I earned my BA in psychology and MS in Mental Health Counseling & School Counseling from Central Washington University and my doctorate in Counseling from OSU.

Abraham's research interests include, K-12 social emotional support, corpus linguistics, school counseling supervision/site-supervision and training, K-12 ELL support as a school counselor, acculturation impact in education.
