I am a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Rogue Valley. A third generation Oregonian, I learned to speak Spanish in the pear orchards where my father was supervisor and began my professional career as an educator at South Medford High School teaching Spanish. Through the years, I completed two Master’s degrees and a PhD and moved to Georgia to explore the world from a different perspective. I left SE Georgia for a job in North Texas. The DFW metroplex was home for 6 years when I decided it was time to return to OR.  After a year of travel and relaxation, I moved to Corvallis and began as counseling program lead in June of 2018. It’s great to be home!
