To address the growing demand for online education, Oregon State University's E-Learning Instructional Design & Development certificate equips participants with the skills they need to enter - or advance in - the field of Instructional Design. Developed by Oregon State University's renowned College of Education, this comprehensive program will provide broad exposure to research-based principles and practices of e-learning in the following ways;

• Developing practical e-learning courses with critical components aligned to achieve established outcomes.
• Utilizing instructional technology to develop a curriculum that motivates and engages the learner.
• Applying instructional design theories, models, and state-of-the-art online tools.
• Establishing and developing an online portfolio

Participants will have an opportunity to experiment with and gain confidence using proven, research-based strategies for designing online instruction that matches today’s varied educational and business needs.
