As Professor and OSU Extension Service Evaluation Specialist I provide evaluation resources to and build evaluation capacity among Extension faculty, locally and across the western region. I earned my doctorate from the University of Arizona in program evaluation.
My research interests are community-based program evaluation and evaluation capacity building. In addition, much of my work has been in seamless evaluation and the application of systems thinking and learning to evaluation (vitae).
Currently, I serve as chair for the College of Education Faculty & Staff Quality Committee which advises the Dean and Associate Dean(s) on policies related to personnel matters, including search and appointment, convening of promotion and tenure committees, overseeing the orientation and mentoring of junior faculty and adjunct faculty, development of performance review, and grievance (student, staff, and faculty). In addition, I serve on student committees in the area of Community College Leadership Preparation.
