Welcome!  This page is designed to give current and prospective students information on advising within the College of Education and to serve as a helpful resource to navigate the Education Double Degree.

If you plan to begin student teaching next fall 2017, you need to attend a Professional Level/Student Teaching Cohort Application meeting this fall.  At the meeting we will go over the requirements to be admitted to the Professional Level, the application process, licensure exams, student teaching responsibilities, licensure/program fees for 2017, and scholarships, plus we will answer any questions that you may have about the program. 

You must attend one session in Furman 404 and the dates are as follows:

  • Wednesday, October 5 at 10 AM or Noon or 5 PM (3 sessions to choose from)
  • Tuesday, October 11 at Noon
  • Thursday, October 13 at 3 PM or 6 PM
  • Wednesday, October 19 at 6 PM
  • Wednesday, October 26 at Noon or 5 PM
  • Thursday, November 3 at 10 AM
  • Tuesday, November 8 at Noon
  • Wednesday, November 16 at 5 PM
